When I leave the house to go somewhere new, I turn my GPS on. Why do I do this? Because I don’t want to be lost, and the GPS is my guide to get me to the right place. In this way, I rely on the GPS to show me the path.
In this way, why do we not rely on Allah (SWT)? Allah (SWT) is our guide, and I guarantee he will never lead anyone astray. But we must ask ourselves, why don’t we lean on him? Why do we think we can do it on our own?
We are lost, and Allah (SWT) is our Guide; who can have mercy on us except the Guide?
