21st of Ramadan

How great is our master that he tells us in the Holy Quran, “Call upon Me, I will respond to you.” (40:60). A master that when you think of doing a good deed tells his angles to write it down and if you do it he tells them to write it down again. Yet when we sin, he tells his angels, waits don’t write it down, let me give them time to repent. This is how great our Lord Allah (SWT) is.
I know when someone wrongs me, I don’t give them the benefit of the doubt. Or when something doesn’t go my way, I get mad. How insignificant are we compared to the greatness of Allah (SWT)?
As today it is Imam Ali (as) wafat, we would be doing an injustice not to talk about the greatness of Imam Ali (as). When nobody could lift the gate of Khaybar, it was none other than Imam Ali (as) who moved this gate all by himself. When asked how he was able to do this, he responded anything I do is with the help and greatest of Allah (SWT). This is a lesson that I definitely can learn from Imam Ali (as).
We are insignificant, and Allah (SWT) is great; who can have mercy on us except the Great?
