19th of Ramadan

19th of Ramadan

Throughout this dua, we ask Allah (SWT) to forgive us because of his greatness. Allah (SWT) is not limited to the names we say in this dua; thus, his excellence is unfathomable. We know he wouldn’t hold back because he is the most generous.

Look around you; what should we thank Allah (SWT) for? Aren’t you in awe of how generous Allah (SWT) is?

Our goal is to grow closer to Allah(SWT), and we should try to embody this trait of his. Who displayed this trait better than Imam Ali (AS)?

It is said that when we was stuck on the 19th night of Ramadan, the orphans went hungry that night. Imam Ali would get up in the middle of the night to feed them while everyone else was sleeping. Let us try to be like Imam Ali (AS) in asking for and doing everything according to Allah (SWT).

We are stingy, and Allah (SWT) is Generous; who can have mercy on us except the Generous?

Tonight will be the first night we recite the dua we have been talking about for the past 18 nights. Let us make sure we are not just reading the words but trying to show Allah (SWT) that we have changed. We ask that on these nights of Qadr, please keep us in your prayers as you will be in ours.
