17th of Ramadan

17th of Ramadan

As I write this caption, I look around and see my house. The dinner table, where we sit and talk for hours; the namaaz room, where we sit and pray; and the family room, where we sit and play games or watch a movie together. I think about all the fantastic, and maybe not so amazing, times we had in this house.

Without any notice, all of this could disappear because one day, we will go away. Allah (SWT) is the only thing permanent. Are we ready for the day we meet our creator? We ask Allah (SWT) to be merciful to us because we are only here briefly, but he is permanent.

We will go away, and Allah (SWT) is permanent; who can be merciful except the Permanent?

When we think about death, we think about those who are not with us anymore. We request you to please recite a Sura-e-Fateha for our grandfathers, Marhum Gulamali Dewji and Marhum Amir Karim, who are instrumental in our family, and we miss them dearly. We also ask you to recite a Sura-e-Fateha for our Zehra Massi, who was the life of every party. Their love for Allah (SWT) and the Ahlulbayt has taught us the importance of this connection, and we are forever grateful for having such patriarchal of in our families.
